Sophomore is a collaborative music project based in Baltimore, MD comprising founding member Jimmy Solesky, Joe Niehaus, and John Burkhardt. An appreciation for classic pop/rock along with the synthesized elements of modern indie and hip hop breeds a reminiscent blend of polished rhythm sections and lush electronic undertones. The trio released their debut single “Tendencies” in 2021 and continues to perform radio standards at venues and events all throughout the DMV area and abroad. Jimmy Solesky is available for acoustic bookings (solo, duo, etc.) as an additional option to the full band.
