DJ, Producer, and non-profit co-founder, Cyndi Tran, is better known to fans as DJ CYD. DJ CYD is a passion about the art of music and giving back. CYD is a highly demanded Washington, D.C based DJ.
DJ CYD has spun for celebrities of all walks of life including Lenny Kravitz, Montell Jordan, Lebron James, Malik Yusef, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, and Bush, headlined at prestigious clubs and performed at fashion, music and charity events. She is one of the most versatile DJs with her vast knowledge of music showcasing her energetic open-format style,which has been well received with clients that have endorsed her including Nike, Under Armour, DKNY, Tory Burch, Monster Energy Drink, Lamborghini, and Maserati. CYD holds down the hottest residencies in Washington, D.C at Eighteenth Street Lounge, Fig & Olive, Intercontinental Hotel, and Heist. DJ CYD
performs internationally touring in Asia, spinning in the Caribbean Islands, and Mexico.
When she is not moving the dance floor crowd, she is curating events focused around empowering women and the community. She is the Co-Founder of Päx Musicäna, a non-profit Media studio. Päx Musicäna is aimed at producing and showcasing compelling content and outreach opportunities that is focused on a range of social and economical issues. She also collaborates with local organizations in helping mentor young children and teens. DJ CYD says “ I find true happiness in making others smile and helping them find their inner strength. I know that my
purpose is to help people create their destiny.” CYD is thus both the acronym and true embodiment for Create Your Destiny.
